“The changing face of friendships in primary school” is the first in a series of talks hosted by the Brisbane Independent School Leadership Team for Term 1, 2021.

Sometimes it can seem like our children, partners and often ourselves, are barely able to organise  follow through with tasks without some external pressure driving us to get them down.  We know that internal drivers are what we are aiming for but sometimes it seems so elusive. Self Direction is a very complex interaction of thoughts and feelings that can either freeze us into inaction or drive us into creativity. This session explores the interaction of social and emotional learning on our ability to be as self motivated and self directed as we wish! Come along ready to explore yourself and set some goals.

This is an online session so please RSVP with the best email for you to receive the Zoom link.

Cost: $20 for general public and free for BIS Community Members and Future Families
